“Please understand one thing about this system. Once you get involved with the criminal justice system, you have lost complete control of your life. The life you thought you had and the freedom you took for granted is gone from day one. You think it’s like television and all the problems are worked out in an hour, with only a few commercial interruptions. Not so! You are that fly in the spider web. You walked in and often it costs you your life to get out.” | ||
